Since being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2007, Joel Anthony has worked hard to become a staple of the Miami Heat. His work was rewarded when the Heat remade their team after the 2009-2010 season and Joel was one of the few players they retained. The versatile and reliable big man has played in all but nine of Miami's games over the last two seasons and played in every game of their run to the Finals in 2011. He entered his fifth season in Miami in 2011-2012 looking to help the Heat take the last step and capture the NBA title.
