Long, athletic and driven to learn, the New Jersey Nets' Johan Petro is a player on the rise. Drafted with the 25th pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, Johan was born and raised in Guadeloupe, where he was introduced the game of basketball. By his teenager years, he was headed to France, where he played for Pau Orthez in France and was named to the All-European Junior Championships team in 2004.
