One of college basketball's biggest stars, Kemba Walker made the leap to the NBA after leading the underdog UConn Huskies to the 2011 National Championship. Walker's big shot prowess was on display throughout March Madness as the point guard drove Connecticut to the title. He brings that game to Charlotte after being selected by the Bobcats with the ninth pick in the 2011 draft. Kemba stands at 6-1, but possesses one of the biggest hearts in hoops. Raised in the Bronx, Kemba crafted his game on the courts of New York City. His honors at UConn included: Final Four Most Outstanding (2011), Bob Cousy Award for nation's best point guard (2011), USBWA District I Player of the Year (2011), consensus unanimous first Team All-American (2011), Sporting News, USBWA, NABC, Wooden and Associated Press First Team All-American (2011), First Team All BIG EAST (2011), First Team USBWA All-District (2010) Third Team All BIG EAST (2010) BIG EAST All Rookie Team (2009), McDonald's High School All-American (2008).
