Lazar Hayward of the Oklahoma City Thunder was a collegiate standout at Marquette before reaching the NBA. Lazar was selected 30th in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. His college's second all-time leading scorer, Hayward's honors included: Honorable Mention All-America selection by the Associated Press; Second Team All-BIG EAST selection; and finishing among the BIG EAST leaders in six categories in the 2009-10 season, including scoring (6th, 18.1 ppg) and rebounding (9th, 7.5 rpg).
