CLIENTS MICHAEL BEASLEY

Michael Beasley, now of the Minnesota Timberwolves, played one season at Kansas State University before becoming an early entry candidate for the 2008 NBA Draft after his freshman year. At Kansas State, Beasley started all 33 games for the Wildcats and averaged 26.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 1.64 blocks, 1.27 steals and 1.2 assists while shooting 53.2 percent from the field, 37.9 percent from three-point range and 77.4 percent from the foul line. His play earned him a litany of accolades, including National Freshman of the Year by The Sporting News and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), the Pete Newell Big Man of the Year award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), unanimous First Team All-American honors from the Associated Press, NABC, The Sporting News and USBWA, a spot on the Wooden Award All-America Team, and Big 12 Player of the Year by the AP. He was also a unanimous First Team All-Conference and All-Rookie Team selection.
