Algorand and NJ/NY Gotham FC Sign Historic Tech Partnership
NJ/NY Gotham FC and Algorand, an industry-leading blockchain company designed to be the most efficient and greenest blockchain available, announced a multi-year partnership deal today. As part of the deal, Algorand will become the front-of-jersey partner and first-ever “Official Blockchain and NFT Partner” of the National Women’s Soccer League club. Gotham FC and Algorand will be unveiling blockchain enabled payments and NFT integrations in-stadium and in the community.

Originally named Sky Blue FC, the Club underwent a major rebrand in April 2021 and officially changed its name to NJ/NY Gotham FC. Representing New Jersey and New York, the Club plays its National Women’s Soccer League home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.
