Bio

Te-Hina Paopao is a dynamic point guard from Oceanside, California and rising sophomore for the University of South Carolina. She graduated from La Jolla Country Day School in 2020, where she was selected Gatorade Player of the Year, MaxPreps Player of the Year, Cal-Hi Sports Ms. Basketball, and McDonald’s and Jordan Brand Classic All-American. As a freshman at Oregon, she averaged 10.1 points with an impressive 39.5% 3-point percentage for the 2021 season, earning her All-Freshman Pac-12 and All Pac-12 honors. Te-Hina led all NCAA Division I freshmen with a 2.40 assist-to-turnover ratio and totaled 84 assists, which ranks eighth among all-time Oregon freshmen. For the 2022 season, she averaged over 13 points per game and led the team with 3.3 assists, earning her All Pac-12 honors for the second year in a row. Te-Hina was also a gold medalist, representing Team USA in the 2021 USA Basketball U19 World Cup.
